The whole gang returns for the sequel we’ve all been waiting for, American Pie 2. This time the gang has just finished their first year of college. A lot of things have changed and a lot has stayed right on par with what took place in the first Pie. Jim (Biggs) is still extremely awkward with sex, Oz (Klein) and Heather (Suvari) are still together and hopelessly in love, Stifler (Scott) is still a prick, Kevin (Nicholas) still longs for Vicky (Reid), and Finch still lusts for Stifler’s mom. Of course, we can't leave out Jim's Dad who's "helpfulness" always keeps us amused.

Teen comedies are popping up as fast as the teen slasher movies did. However, every once in a while you get a gem. American Pie 2 is just that... a bust-a-gut comedy. We've seen many of the stars from this movie attempt to succeed in other comedies, but they sank quicker than the Titanic. Could it be their chemistry together or just the simple fact that it was a good script? I guess we'll never really know, but who really cares as long it makes us laugh, right?

Usually, when a sequel is announced it means we'll have to wait for it to come out on video, but that’s not the case with Pie 2. It takes a step in the right direction with better gags and even more awkward moments than in the first. I’ll admit I went in to this movie expecting it to be much better than the first, and that is something I rarely do. I try to avoid disappointment as much as possible, but I didn't have to try too hard at all with this flick.

Many times some of the best parts of the movie are given away in the trailer, and even though we do see some of them there are more in the movie than you probably thought. Who knew super glue, dildos, and pee could be so funny. I really can’t say much more than... Go see this movie as soon as you can! It’ll keep you laughing and laughing from beginning to end.
